Formal attire

University can come with formal events, and you want to be ready for those from the beginning! You will want to avoid the stress of having to go on a shopping trip a few hours before your event just because you do not have anything to wear. Make sure you bring black ties for men, dresses, and fancy shoes. Having a suit is a great idea as well, especially since formal suits are often expensive and take time to tailor.

Comfortable clothes

You can't forget comfortable clothes! These include leggings, sweatpants, and T-shirts that you can wear around your dorm or apartment. Most universities do not have a dress code, so you could even wear comfortable clothes to class! Getting cosy and doing homework after a long day of classes at your dorm is made much more manageable if you can cosy up in your favourite pair of fluffy joggers.

Many university students find themselves having to buy closet staples because they forget to pack them from home. Don't let this happen to you! By bringing these closet basics, you'll be ready to conquer whatever university throws your way.
